Jim Trelease is the author of the Read Aloud Handbook. This handbook is primarily for adults. I included it in the blog because it gives tips for reading as well as the importance of reading aloud to children. There are suggested titles. If we are to connect kids to books then we as adults need a few tips on how to get kids interested. Why not connect to your child through a read aloud experience? It is a great beginning!
